FAQ

Is Peak Centre Academy accredited by the ministry of education?

Peak Centre Academy is registered with the Ministry of Education. Our Principal and teachers are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. The transition to and from our private school to the public school board will be unproblematic  as we are using the same Ontario grade specific curriculum.

When do you accept applications?

Our cut-off date is June 20th. We accept 15 students per classroom. If less than 15 students are registered for 1 class; we will consider late applications.

Do you have scholarships available?

Presently no scholarship is available. We have created The Peak Academy Scholarship Fund  to address this need for the coming years.

Will my child have to stop playing for their regular team?

Definitely not. The Peak Academy athletes all play for their regular association teams. Our program in no way will impede on your child’s regular hockey season.

What are the fees?

All of our tuition and fee information can be found on the Registration and Fees page.  Additional fees for some tournaments and outings may apply using a cost recovery charge by participants. These will be discussed and voted on by the parents well in advance.

Are there before and after school programs?

The Academy will be open from 7:45 AM to 5:45 PM. Programs are available during this time so that other child care arrangements are not necessary.
