Located in the Bell Sensplex in Kanata, Ontario the Peak Academy is a junior and intermediate private school offering both the regular English language Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum as well as a modified French language program.
The Peak Academy exists to serve the unique academic, physical, social, and emotional needs of students participating in elite sports. Peak Academy is committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, trusting, and caring environment where teaching and learning are exciting and students are assisted as they develop. Our mission is to further the development of student-athletes and help them become top level performers in athletics and academics.
Our class sizes are kept small. As a result, teachers are able to provide students with the instruction and feedback needed to ensure academic success. The school day is structured so that tutoring time is built into the daily schedule. Our highly qualified teachers use a variety of different instructional techniques and strategies to ensure that each child has the opportunity to flourish using their preferred learning style.
At the Peak Academy we understand the pressures parents face with work, kid's sports, and home life. To help relieve some of the stress of arranging child care, the Peak Academy offers a before and after school care program. These programs are designed to enhance the school experience by offering a variety of physically and intellectually challenging activities and unstructured play time.
