Message from the Principal
Welcome to Peak Academy! I hope that through this website you get a sense of just how special our school is and how we will strive to serve your child with dedication, passion and commitment. I am thrilled with the opportunity to lead this team of professionals and I am confidant we will make a positive difference in your child's life. The great football coaching legend, Vince Lombardi, once stated that "the challenge for every organization is to build a feeling of oneness; of dependence on one another... because the question is usually not how well each person works, but how well they work together." Wow, what a powerful quote that can be used for any sport including hockey and more importantly in my role as the principal of Peak Academy. My pledge to you is that we, Peak Academy, will offer each student the appropriate resources and proper attention in order to help them reach their full potential both in academics and athletics. I will also be tapping into my own parental instincts and experience as a school administrator for many years, to set the tone of Peak Academy. I believe that every child is special, unique and has a vast array of potentials that can be mastered with proper sequential learning opportunities in a caring and fun environment. In my home office hangs a painting that serves as a constant reminder to me of the important role that we, as educators, play in the lives of children. This framed print depicts the picture of a young boy looking into the ocean with the caption:
